There so much going into researching space. What about the rain forest? As far as I know, space is going to be around a lot longer than the rain forest the way we are chopping down the trees and destructing it! I think we should be thinking more about the tropical rain forests first! To find unknown species and cures for cancer, hiv/aids, and other dieses needing cures! Which do you think is more important to study?

That's an interesting question....I'll definitely check back to see what others have to say...Personally, I think it's very important to research the rain forests. There are plants, animals, and insects that we've never even seen -these could prove valuable in medicine or in ways we cannot foresee.....On the other hand, we still need to look to the sky for possible future colonization, when we humans eventually destroy this planet...

I think the rainforest is far more important! Space can wait! I mean, people aren't dying to go into space but they are waiting for cures. Rain forests all the way!! ^^

The important thing to study is what we should do to make the forester people to repent of the things they have done... and how to find the sources of all the diseases that people have been suffering and eliminates them.

Space has more high dollar value potential. Make it profitable to study the rainforest and that will become priority.
