Hi! I am growing out my hair for locks of love and it needs to be ten inches. How long does it take to grow it out? My hair is down to my shoulders now and I am willing to cut it a half an inch below my ears. Thanks!

I grew my hair out for locks of love! It is so great. Believe me, you will feel so proud. My hair took about a year to grow 10 inches, maybe less. But it depends on the person. Congrats! I hope your hair comes out long, then when you get it cut, I hope it looks terrific!!!!!!!!

depends on how good u take care of ur hair. if u deep condition ur hair once a week, get it regularly trimmed (so it can grow faster), eat and drink properly (such as water) then it can grow up to one inch a month. so at least 10 months. but even if u do all that, it could grow slower than one inch an month. so it could take up to a year. it's good that ur doing that

Depends on the person, but average growth is 1/2 in per month.

depends on your age, little children from infant -toddler stage might take until they are 5 yrs old, and 6-12yrs maybe 3 years, while I'm not sure about adolescent hair growth, but for adults(ages 20 and above through elderly stage) would be 1/4 inch per month, that means 3 inches per year. so for 10 inches would be 3 yrs and 4 months.
