its always difficult, i'm 21 and until april of this year i had been with someone for nearly 5 years the first few months are the hardest but believe me it does get easier, i enjoy doind my own thing and not being answerable to anyone, you have got the rest of your life foe that, enjoy it while it last,

Try taking a class. If no kids, then take a night class, cooking class.
Join a club that interests you, book club, art club, dancing lessons. You will meet people that share your interests and no pressure to date.
