Reptile, you have never seen Antartica, yet you believe. What's the difference?

thanks for the encouragement chris.
SPOOKY: OK I have proof. Not pics but other proof....*shrugs* I'm just saying Reptile's arguement is easy to argue with. But again. I have proof, although not the proof that you are looking for.

>>>Reptile, you have never seen Antartica, yet you believe. What's the difference?<<<
Wow, that's intelligent. How can you possibly compare the two?
I've never BEEN to Antarctica, but I KNOW it exists. I have seen pictures in books and on the internet. I have seen satellite maps and images from space. Therefore, as proof of Antarctica exists, then it is a real place, whether I ever go there or not.
Show me the same type of proof that God exists.
That's all I require to become a believer. Give me undeniable, verifiable proof. Can you do that?

There is, but don't ask me to prove it. Belief in God is a FAITH issue, not a scientific one. Can you prove that wind exists? You cannot SEE it, but you can see its effects. This is a rather simplistic way to describe it, but that is how God is. That is why one asks do you BELIEVE in God. I have a faith in God based on what I have read in the bible, and on what I can see in my daily life. While I believe that evolution exists (in the sense that we are becoming bigger, stronger etc), I cannot believe that a primordial ooze was struck by lightning and poof there is life! (Where did that ooze come from, SOMETHING must have created it)

All I can say is, I can not prove there is a God, and no one can prove there is not a God.
We should all just accept our different belief's and respect each other. Man, if we were all the same it sure would be boring here.

It's nearly impossible to answer an answer given the format of this board.
If you ask a question you can get good answers. But you can't expect answers from answers.
I mean this in all due respect, shadowgirl. I do respect your opinion.

Apparently their's a lot of gods and some fairies and angels and stuff. I've never met or seen any of them, so it must be some sort of scam or something.

A "good response" is subjective.
there is no god, because if there was, they'd have a lot of explaining to do.
