Look at Luke 22v36 and the sword. After all that you believe and learn of my saviour Jesus Christ and His" turn the other cheek." this is an awkward thing to see . It confuses me this statement coming from the Christ, how can one carry a sword and turn the other cheek . Can some one please shed some light on this.

Grandreal, I do not have the right to sheath a sword and take it to your heart. Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you. You Fool your self if you think you can take a sword to another human for Love and Kindness and take his life .

When you attack me, it just may be my fault!
When you attack another with out just cause, you will find that I will sheath my sword in your heart!
Understand that there is a difference, and when I sheath my sword, I will do it with great love and kindness!

He was saying it to Peter and they said we already have 2 swords. And Jesus said it was enough!!!! Remember Jesus healed the soilder whose ear was cut off by Peter!!!
