I take canned pork and beans, add chopped onion, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and a dash of tabasco. Put in a baking dish and cover with strips of bacon. As it bakes, the bacon will render the fat and give it a very good flavor.
Serve with a grilled hamburger and baked potato salad.

I get Bush's baked beans but I fry up some onions and garlic first then add the beans. Then I add a little brown mustard and bar-be-que sauce. I know it sounds gross but you have to try it. Make sure it's smokey flavored.
I love to cook so what can I say?

I'm not sure what you have in them now. I put bacon, cut the pound of bacon in half and place on the bottom of the pan. I also put in a block of salt pork, cut the cube 1/2 way down and crossway to make cubes. Only down to the fat, I throw the fat away after it is cooked. I add 1/2 cup of molasses, 1/2 cup of brown sugar. I cut up a whole onion into small pieces. Add salt and pepper to taste and about a tablespoon of mustard. May add more sugar if taste needs. They are delicious.

My favorite is to slice some sausages, such as hillshire smoked or kielbasa into the beans, add some green peppers and onions and either brown sugar or maple syrup and some BBQ sauce.

Bush's baked beans makes a good base start.
Then add diced onion, green pepper, and brown sugar into the mix.
Finally, add pre-cooked strips of bacon to it all. I guarantee you will be addicted.

a wince of red pepper... some actual red peppers, a touch of sliced jalapeno pepper, a tad of red curry, some sour curry only a TAD a splash of soy sauce.. some diced onions...
onions.. chili sauce seasonings if you so wish...
green pepper... black pepper... Tabasco, a splash of...
these are suggestions.. if you add it all together in mild proportions.. it'll have a knock to it.
but you can add just one of any of your choice or all in a very small proportion.
of course all according to taste.
Cayenne pepper too if you like!
i love my chili (which i add to burgers) with.....
diced onion, a small slice of garlic...
red curry, sour curry (only a sliver, or small scoop of - canned or powdered)
pinapple...
chili seasoning from mc cormic
a small jalapeno pepper
red pepper sliced
green pepper sliced
dried red pepper
black pepper
mustard
brown sugar
honey
soy sauce ( a dab or two )
a- 1 sauce......
Tabasco (a dash or two)
and that'll warm your old internal organs a tad.
but not to where it hurts....
if you want that add more of that and some texan i'm on fire sauce but i never used mine.. there's a picture of a guy on the label where his mouth has fire spitting from it and he's choking...
so i've not tried that yet.
