I get the impression that when immigration is enforced the border patrol suffers penalties for it. Am I wrong? The higher ups--law makers, judges, bosses, etc. don't want it enforced per se. That's just how it seems to me.

What enforcement?

Wide open borders, magnet programs like welfare, free healthcare and education, and zero enforcement on employers draw illegals like flies to honey.

Meanwhile, your standard of living goes down the tubes with every passing day.

And your chances of catching an incurable, Third World disease go up every single day.

Welcome to the new America.

I say there was a missed opportunity to deport thousands of ILLEGALS during the protests. Buses should have been sent in and loaded with a one way trip back across the border for those stealing their way into this country.

Downhill. Misguided and too much money spent. People who can afford to enter (i.e. your terrorists) still can afford to figure out how to get in. Meanwhile, people that would benefit the country.. like spouses & students have a tough time and will eventually cause a backlash.

How about enforcing laws saying people can't hire illegals. If they can't get low payiong jobs they will stop coming. It all has to do with the money.
