So I met this girl a while back. We've been dating and she's a great girl.

Back when I met her she was really respectful and quiet. She was very unconfident and didn't know what to say around me. Over the span of our relationship, she has grow in confidence and become less quiet, more likely to state her opinion, and more bold. The upside of this is that she feels much better about herself now.

However, there is a problem. She never shuts up now. She always states her opinion and tries to assert herself in our conversations, which I find invasive and annoying. I just wish she would be like the girl I met who never talked and sort of sulked around, out of the way.

Is there a way to ruin a girl's confidence if you're dating her? Maybe I can break her down into the same girl I met months ago and then I won't have to worry about her running her mouth all the time.

Any hints, ideas, help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

As for you people who aren't helping... oh wait, I mean all but like two of you... Sounds like you want me to dump her. I don't really see why I'm such a bad guy if it's her tha'ts annoying me. Plus, I might as well just cheat on her of just block her number and walk, why go through the drama of dumping her LOL!?

Shame on you for even thinking of hurting someone like that!!! Why don't you try good old fashioned honesty with her? Let her know that her assertiveness at times is upsetting to you and give her examples. Don't blame her, own your own feelings about it and let her know that you would like to work through this in a way that is comfortable for both of you.

do not anticipate be unconfident is continually a nasty ingredient. we are all unconfident about something. that's alright to enable the different man or woman do not ignore that you're unconfident (as long as you've faith the fellow) each and every each and every now and then adult men opt to take heed to such issues as that. Plus it take a confident man or woman to admit that he or she is unconfident about something. i hit upon overly confident man or woman annoying, because they're no longer being authentic. pay attention of them. they many times have too many baggages and are hiding something and could be manipulative.

The problem is with her dude. The problem is you. Why would you want to break someone's confidence. Are you intimidated by this girl. If you don't like it just walk away and you won't have to hear her opinions anymore. You have the choice to end it tomorrow, so quit crying about it and do something.

If you don't like who she's become, that may be a sign t hat YOU have stopperd growing as a person. I think she'd be better off withou you. Break up with her and go find someone whith low self esteem to put up with your crap...or read books on self improvement and start going to seminars to expand yourself as a person. Dude are you serious? You want to tear your girlfriends confidence down so you don't have to deal with her? If you don't like who she is just break up with her. From the sounds of it you'd be doing her a favor anyway.

This girl who has opened up to you is actually showing the real her. If you dont like it then you dont like her and you need to find someone else no matter how good the booty is. Think about her feelings.

no, that would make you a a$$hole! If you dont like her for who she is( that would include her thoughts) then find a different girl and get over it. If I ever had a guy try to do that to any girl I knew I would be pissed! and your a$$ wouldn't have a girlfriend!
