We have this dance coming up and the other day he was like who do you like im just curious and I wouldnt tell him, and then he was like well you need to tell me so you and that person could go to the dance together. So all of his friends keep telling me that he likes me. But he made me promise to tell him who I like tommorow and I dont know what to do. Should I tell him I like him or what??

It sounds like he likes you too - in a confident "I know you want to go to the dance with me" type of way?
I think you should tell him. Missed opportunities are always the most regrettable experiences of your life!

It sounds like you and your friend are pretty young. If that's the case, then your friend is probably a little shy and still afrad of rejection. All boys go through this stage, which can be frustrating for a girl like you.
Instead of coming up and outright asking you, he's testing he waters to make sure everything is going to be okay. You can wait until he get's the nerve to ask you, or you can ask him yourself if you've run out of patience. Your friend could be more relieved than offended.
