Mt Everest is on the border between Tibet and Nepal. In Tibet is is know as Chomolungma (Mother of the Universe).
Contrary to some of the postings here it can be climbed from both sides, although the route up from Nepal is deemed easier.

It also has nothing to do with Mt Kailash which is the holiest mountain in Tibet and is located far to the north and west of Mt Everest

one half of mount Everest falls inside china and the other half in Nepal.you can only climb Everest from the Nepalese side as the side in china is unclimbable

mount everest is beetween nopor and china indian moves by nopor and kills people thats how mount everest grows and it is 30,000 feet and there is not much oxigien up the top case there is thin air
