I like this guy from my school.. we are both christian but he is not the same type my pastor does not like us dating guys outside of our church or ethicity...I don't want to disobey my paster but i really like this guy....i am in the 9th grade and am 14....HELP ME!!!

There are some guys in our church but none of them are cute there are guys in our section but they are all "dating" someone and are either to old or to young and if their right then they don't like me

I realize were my paster is coming from i am very into my church and i have seen young girls date boy and backslide (leave the church) and i don't want that to happen to me i am positive it won't but......

You can't worry about what everyone else thinks or feels......I know u r only 14 and I'm not telling u to be disrespectful or sneaky, but if u think it's right for u then so be it. U can't go through life worrying about what people think.

if you really like this guy & the guy feels the same way for you, religion should not get in the way..what is the reason that your pastor doesn't want you to date guys outside of your church? he is just your pastor! he doesn't have the right to hold you back from your own happiness! i just hope you'll realize that..Ã

Well it is important to listen to your pastor, 14 isn't a long term committment.
I have issues with church leaders that try to enforce dating rules, so I would say if it is okay with your parents it is okay.

go for it i would god if u know him well enogh dont let ur pastor rune ur llove life i know it will probly never work out but the sooner u ask the sooner ur over him if he says yes or no and hes the same religon every one who belevese in god is christion so dont worry go for it girl u can do it write him a note or call him explane to him how u feel and he will probly say yes go girl go

Go, with your heart cause e could be the one if he's not you'll know we learn by our mistakes. your pastor should know that. it's ok to bend the rules. My parents came from two different religions and there still married. 14 years straight.

you should probably get to kno the guy more and eventually you will see something about him you didnt before and you might not like him that muhc anymore but if you do you should think about what is more important to you. are you very religious or do you just go by what your family says?

you should just talk to him so you get ot know him better and get to know what he's like. you should also get to know other guys in your pastor's liking so you don't have problem with him or your parents.
