the stainless is nice but so much more of a pain to keep clean (especially if you have kids)!

Real Gold is so soft. My dentist told me that gold crowns are not 100% gold as theres other metals mixed in. Sorry to say but Stainless steel is magnetic and it's a good bet that Gold crowns are magnetic too. I had a Gold Wrist chain and it wasn't magnetic. Turned out to be some funky electro plated led chain jobber. RIP-OFF !

Really depends on the style and look of your kitchen. If you have a high end kitchen, nice cabinets then go with stainless steel or even black. White is cheaper and if it will look nice in your kitchen then go with that. Borrow some decorating books from the library...or magazines for the latest looks.

Stainless Steel is a passing fad, just like green.

Go with white. It's really hard to keep the stainless steel finger prints free from it.

The stainless will scratch, and it is impossible to get the scratches out of it, where if a white one is scratched, you can get touch up paint and won't be able to tell. Plus the white is easier to clean, and won't streak like the stainless will

i think you should get white cos all my appliances are stainless steel and are a real pain to keep clean. if u do opt for the steel invest in a bottle of baby oil. rub on rub off for gleaming results

Stainless steel looks cool, but it is really hard to clean. Stick with white - the pebbled stuff is cool.

It's not necessarily about the look or the fad. It's about the utility, efficiency, and life span. Check with consumer reports to get an idea of which will be best for you.
