Say GOOD RIDDANCE! You could have been 48, 58, 68, 78. You are 38 years young, don't think of yourself as being old, or older. You have wisdom and knowledge that would spin a 20 year old head. But, first get yourself through your grief of being "dumped". Maybe this will be your blessing in disguise.

get up, dust off your self-esteem and get your *** back out there. you are in the best era of your life. you know more about yourself than you did at 20. you know more about men than you did at 25 and you should be more settled than you were in your teens. you are in a golder era of life, take advantage of it. instead of saying i'm already 38, say i'm 38 and i still got it ( if that's the case, if not make it so) girl don't believe life is over just because he left. that would be such an injustice. get on out there and have a fun fill, prosperous life, 'cause your still in your prime.enjoy

Welcome to the club! As for what to do, just don't beat yourself up. Now is a time that you need to be extra-kind to yourself. Just imagine that you were counseling a friend on her breakup; what would you tell her and what would you do for her? You need to tell yourself those things and do those things for you.

Above all, don't lose faith in you. Transition times like these are times when you can really learn about and improve yourself. And more men will come; don't even worry about that:)

Take care!

You feel all at loose ends, but you'll get perspective soon.

Maybe you're better off. Good riddance, because you've still got plenty of time!

I'm hitting 50, and guys are still chasing me, and my period shows no signs of letting up (although I don't want any babies).

Be kind to yourself, and move on.
