he lashes out at me all the time and snaps at you when you talk to him its makin my life a misery i get the blame for everything although im the eldest but i should stand up to him

well wot a conincidence I'm 18 my bro is called Jason and hes 15, and he does exactly the same, its probably peer pressure, i also gets the blame for everything and he treas my mum like a slave, if ur parents have split up it mite b that to. i understand how u feel

Because as an adolecent, he believes himself to be a man but is still treated as a child by those in authority. This is causing him to become frustrated at the world for not taking him seriously. Thus leading to temper tantrums and such like. He will grow out of it when he does actually mature into a man. Unless of course you ask a woman, and she will tell you he will never grow out of it.

Because he's a 15 year old. A lot of guys (and girls) at that age are nothing more than obnoxious, bad tempered pricks.

I was nice, on the other hand.

Anyway, just don't talk to him if he's going to be like that.

He's a teenager. You just have to live with it - he's having problems adjusting into adulthood at the moment. Tough break for you, I know - but imagine how he feels...
