Hi great people. I want to establish an audio/movie producing studio. Is there anyone out there who can recommend anybody who can be consulted on this? The idea is to establish a studio that will serve the purpose of full music production: from concept to mastering and also will be able to handle movie production from preproduction to post production. I assume you are in Los Angeles or New York, so go to one of the production studios and ask for a tour from the public relations guy.
You are talking a lot of money here. Even though it's now a digital age, it's still beaucoup expensive.
Maybe you are filthy rich?
If not, I'd suggest you begin by buying some sound gear and start a rental company. Or if you know nothing at all, become an intern or PA for a recording company.
A sound stage is huge.
I applaud your ambition -- almost wish I could come along for the ride!
