Do you think there are certain situations that even though its the worst thing you can do in a relationship, that a person can be driven to cheat? Like being ignored constantly and not listening when I tell him how I feel. Or am I just a terrible person??

NO! If he ignores you constantly why not go out with some one that will enjoy doing things an listening to you. If you think it bad now he will get worse if you marry him.

I don't think you're a terrible person. I don't think it's acceptable in any circumstance to cheat though. If you are feeling ignored by your partner and you aren't able to openly communicate with him, then I think the relationship needs to be ended.

sound like it was already over. Being ignored constantly and not listening whenyou tell him how I feel is the silent way saying "f#ck off. He's the terrible person, i would have like to be you partner in crime. i would be proud to be you man, and have no concerns of you cheating on me.

Cheating is cheating no matter how you cut it! What goes around does come around! Be a little more bold and honest -if you want a different relationship....take the time to be true to yourself and your mate!

BEST WISHES!!

I don't think that you are terrible. He has to give too....and listen. Just think about what you really want.

you aren't a terrible person, you just made a mistake. maybe if youre honest with your significant other, and explain your side, they'll realize how they've been treating you and it'll all get better. if you can't resolve it, then maybe it just wasn't meant to be.
