when girls like a hot guy why do they pretend they don't like the guy and act like they are afraid to express the way they feel about him? And second whats holding them Back Its not likely that the guy will be waiting forever? please help me out here.

girls are always afraid of the unknown...they are scared of possibly getting hurt if they actuallly express how they are feeling..it varies with each girl, but girls will shy away from a hot guy cuz he can intimidate them..a girl could think the worst and think shes not good enough for him.. so you have to make sure u let her know that shes the one ur interested in and u make her feel comfortabel and special...the guy need sto make her feel that it is okay to express how she feels so she doesnt shy away from a great guy!

Sweetheart, I don't know what type of girls you deal with, but a woman like myself doesn't play games like that. If I see a hot guy and where really into each other and I see opportunity there, i'm going to take advantage of it and go for it. I don't waste time and I don't play games. Maybe it's the girls you happen to come in contact with. Not everyone of us act like that.When I see a hot man I want himfor myself, and i'm defintely going to let him know in some form or fashion. These girls are probably scared and don't know how to express their feelings. I don't know your age, but maybe they are still young in the mind.

Some girls are shy and afraid of being rejected if they were to actually go up to the guy and say something or another and get turned down...Guys tend to do that alot.

It's the hard-to-get routine. They don't want to be perceived as being ''easy'' but a lot of times the guy just moves on because he thinks she's making it clear that she's not interested. Unfortunately, when this ''miscommunication'' occurs, it deprives both parties, of what would otherwise be a nice relationship.

i pretend not to like a hot guy just so that i dont come out as dersparte or actually do like him. i thikn if the hot guy makes a move first, then id be less held back

It's all about rejection. Some girls aren't used to being aggressive when it comes to attractive men. Even with the feminist movement, many people still think that the guy is the one who should pursue the girl, and they also think that girls who show they are open to being pursued are slutty.

people always desire what they cant have more, if a girl gives the illusion that she cannot be had she will be desired more and therefore get lots more yummy attention.
Also you, on the other hand, need to take into account the fact that most girls are very sesitive and scared of being rejected.

If I like a guy, I may act like I don't because inside I'm thinking, "If I act like I like him, but he doesn't return my sentiments, then that makes will make me feel or look like the weak/inferior one." So he has to give me a positive sign first before I risk it.

They just play game. If you go for it you are in danger or easily gonna be used or punished. What the hell the cool makes you crazy anyway. If you want something cool bay a dog.
