i have a prepaid cell phone and my minutes were supposed to expire yesterday. But my phone still works and i can still call people. Why didnt it shut off? (im not saying i want it to)

sometimes they allow you to use your unused minutes but i would make sure to get more minutes asap

The PUC governs how they are able to charge for minutes. If they still owe you minutes, they may leave the phone on until you've used them up.

Why would you not either use the minutes or get a refund? Don't waste your money, dear.

It`s not an exact science, all the cut-off times for anything. Some things may take longer to work through the system. Try to use them up as soon as.
