when they took your brackets off was there a mark from the brackets like a white bracket shape or yellow on your teeth?

Nope! They clean your teeth, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but the color stays even. There might be a few scratches on your teeth though, but they're not noticeable unless you look at them closely and at a certain angle.

This is what is called an "incipient (early) lesion." It happens if you were not able to brush that well around your braces. Sometimes, it will go ahead and develop into a full-blwon cavity and it will need to be fixed. (drilled and filled) Sometimes, if you don't eat junk food and if you use a fluoride toothpaste, you can actually stop the incipient lesion from getting worse.

If you don't like the appearance, it is a simple matter to go ahead and just get a filling to match the color of your tooth now. You figure the odds are that it's going to turn into an official cavity anyway, so you won't feel too bad about doing this.

Yes there was but that is because I went to some cheap jerk for my braces..I also had cavities under the brackets. In fact 15 years later I can still notice stuff on my molars from my brackets!!
