to be more specific, looking at a computer screen and then imediately looking at paper for a few seconds and then looking at the screen again over and over again. is this bad. how do you stop eye strain from computer screens if you have a laptop.

You need a monitor with a high-refresh rate and a high native resolution,... get a monitor like that and you shouldn't have too many problems,.. easy.

Just like sitting too close to the tv is bad for your eyes and give you a bad eye sight, sitting next to a computer for too long also can give you a bad eye sight. Get a screen saver, it will help keep your eyes from getting strained.

Well, it can't KILL you, but you might get a severe headache after a while. That's why I prefer to type straight on the computer instead of writting on paper and have to rewrite it. It's also bad for your eyes if you stare at the screen too long (My eye sight is BAD, but I still do it :P). Hope that helps!
