As a teenager I remember my mum saying she loved me, but didn't like me. That was a shock, but as I got older we grew to like each other and became friends. We went shopping a couple of times a month and rang each other most (but not all) days of the week. She was the person I could 'sound off' to and she could do the same to me. I suppose without realising it she became my best friend, but I had to grow up first so we could be 'equals'.

Used to be really bad but now that i am not living with her things are great. We talk at least once a week and see each other at least once a month
