Time and again Paul likens the Christian’s course to a “race” that must be run to the finish. “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” he urged the Hebrews. (12:1, AV) To enter the race, sinners must take the steps necessary for salvation: hearing and accepting the Word of God, believing in Jesus Christ and his ransom sacrifice, repenting of their sins and being baptized. In this way, they get saved “from this crooked generation,” as Peter exhorted those gathered at Pentecost. Unbelievers are outside the race, having failed to enter by getting “saved.”Acts 2:37-40.
Once entered in the race by being “saved,” a Christian takes “hold of the life which is life indeed.” But is it possible to lose that grip on life? Paul answers with this question: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize?” In the Christian race, Paul indicates the “one” who receives the prize is anyone who finishes the race. Therefore, Paul urges, “So run that you may obtain it.” Then, using himself as an example to make the point of his illustration, he continues: “I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Tim. 6:19.
Evidently the apostle, who surely was a “saved” Christian, believed that even he could be “disqualified” from the race. Yet as long as he continued to ‘run that he might obtain’ the prize, thus remaining in the race, salvation was assured. This is why Christians who remain in the race can be said to ‘have everlasting life.’ But if they should ever quit the race, they are “disqualified,” losing their hold on everlasting life.

Thats a debate that i ahd at one of my bible studies and i thought yes but then on and then yes and hten no. But if u think about it, in Hebrews 6 :4-6 it says that IF u fall it will be impossible to get back again. And that if u once were enlighted with the Holy spirit and hten feel way from God that it will be very hard or even impossilbe to get back. I think that if someone syas if then that means both sides. That means that it can happen.
This is what it says: 4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because[b]to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public

Yes, a Christian falls everyday. It is the ability to learn from those mistakes, repent, and take steps to not do it again that separates a Christian from most.

If they do, the Christians say he was never saved in the first place.
Which means all those Christians who are so sure they are saved are wrong. They will only find out when they go up for judgement.

Nobody can fall from grace!!! There is no such thing as "grace". The word is an invention of religions to maintain the "fear factor".
Think about the implications of the statement "God' does not forgive".

good question. from personal experience, i would have to say yes. i turned away from God for a long time and things in my life got seriously out of hand. God never left me. but he didn't bless me either. i am back where i am suppose to be and i feel God and i are getting back to where we use to be with each other. i was stupid for what i did, but it was also a great lesson for me. it was my fault, but i did miss my best friend, my Father God.

Hitler did...and he was Christian...although I have found that many here refuse to believe it or accept it. They always come up with some excuse to block him out but facts are facts...

Yes, it is possible- this is considered to be the one unpardonable sin. That is, if you turn from Christ and STAY TURNED from Christ, then how can he save you? However, if you turn away then come back, he will forgive- the Prodigal Son story teaches this.
