I was raised catholic ..mistakenly become adventist ..trying to get back to catholicism ..I failed , ...I think I have stopped believing in religions, ...I got sick of them ....I want to live a spiritual but not religious life ...but, yet , have stopped being a member of christianity for that ..? and does a spiritual life means that you have to be stuck only on spiritual christianity, or can it larger than that ..mystical, astrology, wicca and so on ..including spiritual christianity ..?

I would say that you cannot quit Christianity. You either believe in God and all that he has done, all that he is doing, and all that he will yet do, or you dont believe.

I think what you are really wondering is if there is a worship style out there that goes directly from the bible and the bible alone, without mans rules and regulations to trump the bible.

There is such a place of worship, many of them. They can be found in every town and city. They are generally quite small in membership because most do not want to hear what they need to know, they only want to hear the good stuff so to speak.

A small biblically doctrinal church will help you grow in your walk with God. It will teach directly from the bible, and it will live out what it is taught in the bible.

Yes, there are places of worship that have lost their way, but there are still many that havn't.

Remember, once you believe, its in your heart, you dont just one day not believe. You can however become very frustrated when you try to live by the words of God and man trys to trump Gods word with his own.

I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you decide to stick with Christianity as Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Unfortunately you can not practice Wicca and astrology AND Christianity without sinning. Because you would be breaking a commandment "Thou shall have no other God's before me"

GOOD LUCK, I will say a prayer for you.

Oh my Goddess you can totally quit Christianity! But you have to figure out why. If you are seriously questioning the teachings of the Church, your pastors, and the Bible, it's time to take stock of what you DO believe. My father is born again and he goes to a very outspoken church whose pastor says 'We don't do RELIGION here!'

Speaking from experience with numerous friends and colleagues, many Catholics or former Catholics have problems with the rigidity of the religion. The idea of having to go to Church and talk to some guy, who's gonna let God know you're doing alright is a little much. If you are still comfortable with the ideas of Chrsitianity (The Creation, Jesus being your savior, God taking care of it all) then you might try talking to a preacher or pastor of another kind of Christianity. Most 'sects' of Christianity involve alot of apologizing and kneeling. If that isn't for you, you might need to be saved. Find a free gospel tabernacle or Baptist church. They are VERY spiritual and are not afraid of saying so! A HUGE difference from being raised Lutheran, let me tell you!!!

If the problem is the ideas of Chrsitianity itself, like you DO NOT think Jesus is your savior and DO NOT agree with the teachings of the Bible, it's time to think bigger. I suggest trying to write down what YOU FEEL, not what you've BEEN TOLD! What do you think God is? How do you think we as humans reach him? How do you think God exists? What do we need to do to be one with God? Is God even one? Is there a Goddess? Was Jesus just a nice guy who did some crazy stuff, but not your savior?

Judaism was the basis for Christianity; there might be alot in that religion that makes sense to you. Wicca or neo-Pagan religions have a lot of duality in them, God and Goddess, a lot of being responsible for your own actions, and respecting nature and all around you. I am not terribly familiar with Islam, so cannot comment on it.

Most Christians and neo-Pagans will tell you there is not room for one in the other. Most Christians believe the erroneous translation in Exodus, 22:18, 'Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live' and will persecute neo-Pagans. The word that was translated to WITCH in the King James version was Kashaph, which in Hebrew means a person who uses poisons to harm others.

I quit because i could not accept that my G-d would come to earth in human form. My G-d is One. To me, this is a man made up story.

I am now a Jew--for 1/2 my long life, and I am very happy, knowing I am a part of a spiritual community, a historical community, and part of a history for the future.

there are many religions, people get sick of all of them because they are all contridicting each other.A spiritual life is a life based on something we cant see, something we can only believe. We have to know God for ourselves not through others. Yeah testimonies help but unless you experience it for yourself then it will only be a story, but when you live it, it becomes your life. Pray that GOD himself will show himself strong to you so you will no longer be confused he will answer he doesn't fail even if we do , he is faithfull and wants us to live

So many people today are disallusioned with organized religion.
and rightly so,there is very little in the doctrines of todays religions
that even come close to what Jesus Christ taught...war,backed
by religious leaders world wide, blatent imorality see in every
facet of life and condoned by most religious leaders, homosexuality
embraced in many of the churches.and the thing that Christ most
stressed in his ministry is love.there just isi'nt much of that in the
churches today.read....2nd.timothy3:1-5.that pretty much sums
the condition in the world these day.there is one place that a
person can go and find love for neighbors, people that try to main-
-tain spritual morality, cleanleness, that obey the laws of the land,
"give to ceasar his due"and worship the only true God.JEHOVAH.
if you are not disallusioned beyond what you can stand, please
contact Jehovahs's witnesses in your area.or write......

When you reach the point that the hypocrisy of continuing to claim something you don't really believe begins to be more troubling than admitting the truth to yourself.

While some people seem to think becoming an atheist or rejecting the teachings & beliefs of your youth is a decision made lightly, or for trivial reasons (anger, unhappy, bad things happened, etc.), as a former Christian, I can assure you rejecting your former beliefs can be a very difficult process.

But, you must find your own way.

well if u want to believe in god and what he says then u wont join any sort of wicca or mystic group. if believe in god then u dont have to go to church to believe in god just study the bible and pray.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,..

but if thats not what u want then u can do whatever u feel like.
