Theres this guy at the gym, whos really cute. I am leaving town in a week, but i really want to...get his attention. He does notice me and sometimes we stare at each other, but most of the time im the first one to look away as it gets so intimidating- how do i get more besides just gazing at each other without looking like an idiot? thanks!

ask him for advice on how to use whatever weight or machine he spends the most time on.
That way you will have an excuse to talk to him and give him a subject to talk about which he should know a lot about.
It's an easy and unambiguous way to let him know you're interested in getting to know him

The next time the two of you have this eye contact, walk up to him and say, "If you're wondering if I'll go out with you, the answer is yes. Here's my name and phone number. If you're interested, give me a call."
If he calls, he's interested, if he doesn't you haven't done anything to be embarrassed about. For what most women don't understand is that guys are full of just as many questions, fears and doubts, as are women. It's just as hard for a guy [save for the weird type of guys you don't want to ask you out, but do, because they're use to being rejected] to ask a girl out, as it would be for them to ask a guy out.

When you look at each other, you should walk over there to him and talk to him. Tell him about your interests. After you talk, he will want to talk to you everyday. Trust me on this one, I am a guy. Hope it works out!

either do squats infornt of him.. or when hes doing cardio move to the tredmill/eliptical next to him and bring up a cinversation
