It's up to the couple and the income of each, someone on minimum wage could not afford to go halves in a fancy restaurant for example but a lawyer or business man could easily.
When I met my now husband he earnt 3 times what I did so he paid for most things but I made sure I paid for some things as well even if it was only cinema tickets or a round of drinks.

Us women are always going on about equal rights so yes it should be 50/50 unless the man offers but then the woman should still protest a little bit it just proves were not all gold diggers and we show that we have our own independence and don't always have to really on men

This would depend on what stage of the relationship you're at. personally with me and my other half i make deals, if i clean the bathroom after him it earns me dinner out. If i do the school run i get my tea cooked, vacuuming gets coffee in bed, pole dancing for him gets me a very good seeing too!!!! Use it girls as the thing is you never have to worry that he'll take his turn at the above jobs!!! (although his pole dancing's coming on a treat!!!)

It's just prostitution but with the same man and it's great!!!

not sure as i have been with my man for nearly 17 years and still to this day if we go out for food he pays and that is after all those years together two kids a home two cats.
I do get to pay sometimes but i guess he is just old fashioned and likes to show a gal a good time.
not sure how i would feel if i went out with someone and they wanted me to pay half of the bill or even all of the bill, would more than likely tell him where he could go but that is cos i am spoilt. lol
mind you i think that is how it should be....... i a guy takes you out on a date then it is up to him to pay............ that really shows that he wants in your pants the good way lol

It depends on the situation.

On a first date, the man should at least pay for dinner. If the woman wishes, she can then pay for a movie/show/whatever else is involved in the date.

After the first date, it's only fair for the woman to offer to pay her way. Or the man could pay for dinner one night, and she pays for dinner the next. It just depends on what you're comfortable with.

I think if the guy is happy to pay then i don't have a problem with it. Its nice to have someone who is a gentlemen and is old fashioned in their way of thinking. I think a girl should offer to pay for some things but i dont agree that equal rights = women paying half of everything. What happened to romance! and the man being able to take care of his woman?... women have ruined it for themselves cos now alot of men EXPECT us to pay.

To me this is the type of question that should have been settled while dating and getting to know each other before you became a couple. I have never in my life allowed a woman to pay. Call me old fashion but i think it is how it should be.
