Do you have long hair? I have long hair and I shed so much. I asked my hair dresser about it. She said it is normal to lose about 100 hairs a day. I said it is more, she said when your hair is long, it just seems like that.

If it is more than that, you should see your doctor. It could be your thyroid, it could be a more serious problem, or it could be medication that causes it. Stress will do the same thing.

I am praying for your health.

I think I might have the same problem. In the shower, when I comb my fingers through my hair, I get a whole bunch of strands wrapped around my fingers. I find long blonde hairs all over my back and clothes as well. I've asked the ladies who cut my hair, and they've pointed out Nexxus, and other shampoos that help with getting a healthy scalp. It might also have something to do with a sport you participate in...? I'm on a swim team, and my cap pulls on my hair all the time. But also keep in mind that we lose around 100-150 hairs per day! You and I might just lose them all at the same time, and don't shed any more during the day...

It could be your thyroid. If your hair feels extra dry and falling out, for a long time now, then it could be thryoid problems.

Id go to the doc if it continues and have them run a test. Go to a thyroid doc tho, if not you may not get true results. They run a better test.

well if it's not serious, just like around five hairs come out when you brush it out, there are like products that are a special kind of oil you can buy that you massage onto your scalp and it helps.
