So I am guessing this is an internet relationship that you've got going on.
Nobody can tell you what is right or wrong for yourself but you. However, I advise you to play it safe. You're telling a man that you've never looked at that you love him. For all you honestly know, he could be potato couch pervert that is obsessed with young women.
Honestly, I don't think your relationship is really love. Although physical attraction isn't as important as attracting with that person mentally and emotionally, it is still something that you need to see before you can actually love a person. How can you love someone whose spirit has yet to touch you, when you've not yet met.
You'll have to be careful... If I were you, I wouldn't have gotten myself into a situation where I fell in love with someone I can't see and that doesn't live in the same state as me. It's a dangerous and heart breaking game.

First without meeting a person and getting to know the person you can not say your in love . The word is infatuation ! Even in relationships with regular dating it can take a few months before a person shows their true stripes.
Anyone can be anything and say anything on-line !!!! They can say they are 20 and really be 65 !!! I hope you get the point with that example with out me going on with more
You received advise from someone previous suggestion you save the money and go and visit him ...my suggestion is you have him come and meet you ...as a woman do not place yourself in an unsafe circumstance meet in a public area and take a friend if possible with you

I'm sorry to break it to you, but your "boyfriend" is a 45 year old delivery man with a van full of candy.
It's nice to see parent's are helping their 13 year olds develop meaningful relationships over the internet. That's just what this world needs, more teenagers who feel so inadequate without a "bf" that they think e-mailing constitutes a real emotional connection.

i think its your in love with the idea. there is nothing wrong with being attracted to him mentally that's gr8 i say. but i really think you need to be attracted to the physical and mental to really be in love with him. so id suggest seeing him soon before you completely fall for someone you are not even sure your physically attracted to also be careful you never no what types of crazys are out there. in this days with ims and text messanging and voice mail it easy to see how relationships can get involved without the person to person interaction that in the long run is very nessasary

That's not right. I'm assuming you are young and don't really know exactly what love is. How can you honestly be in love with someone you haven't even met in person? Slow down and if you really like him arrange to spend sometime together.

having a connection besides attraction is always important but how do you know that he isn't married...have another girlfriend...there are so many questions that you haven't answered by seeing each other...anyone can live a secret life online...you need to have him come to you or you need to go to him just to see if everything is true...be careful!

I'd say that's perfectly fine. I met my boyfriend online, and he's amazing.
If you really love him and he really loves you, then that's great.
Just if you decide to meet, make sure you see a picture of him first, so you know he isn't a pervert or anything.
But no, there is nothing wrong with it at all.
