Try one of the following:

1. Restart mac and hold a mouse button while its booting up. The cd should pop out.

if that fails....

2. Restart mac and hold comand and S keys at the same time. It will get you into a single user mode. When the prompt shows type:

eject

CD will pop out...

then type

reboot

to reboot your mac.

Many different ways to eject on a Mac depending on how old it is and why type of machine you have and what operating system you are using.

First restart the machine and hold down the space bar after it has restarted. This sometimes works.

If this doesn't work, restart and hold down the mouse key.

Third, use a paper clip and straighten it. Locate the small pin hole beside the CD-Rom. Insert the paper clip carefully and press in. This should eject the CD.

If this doesn't work then you have to go into firm ware:
Restart machine

Hold down "Cmd+Option+O+F"

type at the prompt "eject" hit enter

type "mac-boot"

Another way of trying to eject the CD would be by using your disk utilities. This is located in application in System OS X. When you open disk utitilies look on the left side for your CD. If you see the CD then select it, and then click the button that says eject.

You can also hold down the C key after restarting the machine. This typically is used for installing software. Since the music CD is not for this it should eject it.

If your machine has firewire you can start your machine up in target mode. You do this by restarting your machine and holding down the "T" key. When it starts up try hitting the eject button. Note: when in firewire mode your computer screen will look like the letter "Y".

Don't be afraid to try these techniques more then once. Sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 restarts before the CD is ejected.

After CD is ejected, throw it away!!!!!

If this doesn't work and you are a student or work in education, you can call the "Apple" help line for free. They can talk you through it.

Poke a pin into the small hole on the CD tray, this is the manual eject. It will let you get the CD out.

There is a small hole by the cd drawer that if you put a paper clip in it, it will eject it. As far as the songs on the disc, I would bet it is either damaged or in upside down!

there should be a little wholde about the size of a pin under or above the cd drive. If you stick a tack or needle or paper clip in there it should manually eject it.

Use the emergency procedure...put a pin into the little hole on the drawer cover.

THEN...

Put it in your DVD player & see if it plays thru your TV. If it does its probably that the software on your PC is either corrupted or doesn't have the correct codex.

Uninstall/reinstall the software is probably the best first step
