Which religion are you following at the moment?
I thing religion is not something you can just change like a pair of socks, but then again, maybe doing so might help people in way to find themselves and their own beliefs.
I guess the question is what you expect to gain from that religion or for that matter from any religion. I am not fond of dogmatic religions, because I don't like being presented beliefs "on a plate" I like to draw up my own conclusions through experience and my conscience.
Good luck in finding...and someone said "the path is the goal"...but I am not sure if I agree with that.

Bad Idea. Regardless of what you're converting from, it's a bad idea. The Three paths of Abraham, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all based on authoritative doctrine and have no redeeming qualities to them. Most people in the developed world join a religion to become a part of a community and to add structure to their lives. You don't need a religion to do that.

So what's the problem? This is simply a matter between you and God, and you only have to make the decision. But do read your New Testament, for your new creed will put demands on you. Seek some help from other Christians. However, you may like to pray something like this,
' I confess to God that I am a sinner. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross. I believe that God raised Him from the dead. I now repent of my sins. I receive Him as my Saviour. I confess Him as Lord'.
May God bless you.

True Christians can be found at your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. You must learn about what the Bible really says through a Bible study before you can become baptized but I certainly hope you actually do pursue this course. May God bless all your efforts in this regard.

Being a Christian is believing in the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.

It is different from checking "Republican" instead of "Democrat" on your voter registration application.
That is, one who accepts Christ as his or her Savior is looking to do a little more than change religions.

Yay! All you have to do is pray to God and tell Him that you believe in his son, Jesus Christ, and you believe that He died for our sins. Admit that you are a sinner, and you want to be cleansed and be pure once more, and you want to live for him forever. :)
ABC's of Becoming a Christian:
- A - admit that Jesus that you are a sinner
- B - Believe that Jesus is God's son
- C - Confess your faith in Jesus as your savior and Lord
love, your sister in Christ,
Jessi
