Do you have to wait to be contacted. My boyfriend was suppose to come home on Friday to NC, but then the news said the flights were going to come in on Saturday. It's now Sunday and I still have not heard from him. So I was wondering if there was a website or a information line that you could call or look up to see when the troops are suppose to come home or if something has caused them to be delayed.

Contact the Military Base where his unit's headquarters
is located and contact the Public Affairs officer of the Battalion to which the unit is assigned to.

You'll either have to wait patiently or contact someone on post, if you know anyone. That kind of information isn't released for public viewing. It'd be a huge security risk. I doubt you'd find it online at all. Your best bet is to wait patiently since their flights and such change all the time. Otherwise, find a connection on post.

Good luck!!

if you are not on the list of people that are authorized to receive that information ahead of time( and it really isn't that mush sooner than everyone else) then you will ahve to wait until he contacts you. Troop movements are guarded under OPSEC and are not publically available until after the fact.

Find out where your boyfriend was originally stationed and see if the Chaplains Office might have that info. Good luck.

It could be equipment issues with the aircraft. Orders weren't done being cut, equipment was diverted. Any number of issues. The military credo "Hurry up and wait" .....don't worry, he'll contact you when he can.
