Thats a felony burglary. The cops must do something. Its not a simple theft. Anytime someone walks into your house and takes something, a gun no less, call the cops ASAP!

Burglary of Habitation, He walked in there with the intent to commit a theft....now it does depend on how old the neigbor is, if he's 3 and he walked in through open garage would have a much different outcome than if the adult neighbor or his teenager broke into your house specifically looking for your pellet gun......call the police, make the report and let them figure it out, it's what we get paid for.....

If you have not called the police and reported this theft, YOU can be charged with a crime too, should he commit a crime with your weapon or with your ammo. See, you knew he had it, you knew he has a record, and you didn't report him. I could put the handcuffs on you and hand you over to the county judge who could put your butt in jail for up to twelve years if the guy were to kill someone with that stuff! So you BETTER report this jackas RIGHT NOW!

To paraphrase, Me thinks you protesteth too much! Are there some facts missing from your story? Sorry! Sounds like a highly unlikely story pertaining to a rather common, and legally established, crime. Police can not "choose" which crimes to look into once a charge has been filed. At least that's how it goes in the USA.

sure, he has the mind-blowing to pass into if he believes a criminal offense is in progression. Neighbours calling a relatives dispute would provide him adequate reason. He does no longer have the mind-blowing to seek the premises and not making use of a seek warrant, yet once you got here approximately to have a team of unlawful drugs sitting on the table while he walked in, properly, difficult.

There are numerous charges, trespassing, stolen property (and just like the answer before me, gun theft is serious).
The police will take it serious, and you should call them.
