Yes, if you need to use a pair of tweesers, but dont go too deep with them! You can damage the dogs eardrum. If it's really deep take him to the Vet

You might want to mention it to your sister to give your dog a flea bath and get him on flea prevention!! The fleas are not healthy for the dog.

Is it a flea or a tick? If it is a flea and it is dead leave it alone. If it is a tick you can gently try to remove it but if it is embedded you need to let someone that knows what they are doing try and remove it. Is it just a tiny black spot? Because ear mites are black. You can tell if it is ear mites by taking a Q-tip and swabbing the ear to remove the black areas then you can actually rub it onto a piece of white paper and see the mites crawl away. They are VERY small and hard to see though. If you pet does have ear mites you need to get it to a vet... can you imagine how painful that must be?

Are you sure it is a flea or is it a tick cause usually fleas are really small and do not stay in one place. That being said whether a tick or a flea yes you can try and pull it out though if it is a flea I doubt it is the only one

If it is a flea, and it is dead I do not see any reason why you can't remove it from the dogs ear. Just be careful that you don't hurt the dog. Good luck.

Yes. if it IS a flea. If it is a tick, you might not get it all by pulling it. Heat a pin or needle and touch it to the tick(be careful not to touch it to the dog's ear) The heat will make the tick back out and drop off.

if its dead the body will actually make it come back out of the skin on its own. Its a possibility its alive and feeding. Your dog might protest but you can try and get him.
