Lets look at your questions in numerous parts. 1 Why is E Coli in so much stuff? Well that answer is easy. E Coli is a bacteria. It is a normal bacteria in our intestines. It is needed to help keep your bowels in working order. Bacteria is what helps our bodies absorb or create vitamins that our bodies Must have. E Coli is found in the intestines which means where feces come from (Answer to question 2 of the 3)If you look at what it takes to grow food it takes fertilizer (Some parts animal Feces) And finally Why is agribusiness not taking responsibility? You are asking an entire industry to take responsibility for EVERY single person and event that happens in the food industry. It is impossible to to control everyone & everything ..all the time. THere are standards, and when those standards arenot metthose companies are held responsible by strict andoften costly fines. These companies then should investigate the incident, and do whatever is nesscary to prevent a repeat of the incident.

Escheria Coli lives in our gut. I guess somebody watered the produce with pasture water. Agribusiness says to wash your produce. This is why.

Yes, E. coli is found in human intestines. It is a beneficial bug (your own is, anyway) that aids in digestion. So basically, what happened is, some employee of the spinach bagging plant tok a dump, didn't wash their hands, and transferred their E.coli to the spinach. Since the majority of bagged spinach is eaten raw, folks got infected. Last I heard, 1 died.

It can be found in cow intestines too..and when they take a crap it goes onto the ground. It can spread lots of ways. During the summer it's horrible and when it finds its way to your food that's dangerous. I remember when the apple juice was infected with it at one point(the apples were falling onto contaminated ground)..and so on.

can u say illegal immigrants? sadly, we allow poor to cross the border, work illegally in our plants and farms, thereby infecting the food supply. running water and simple hygeine is nonexistant in most mexican homes, and they do not practice healthy lifestyles here, either.
u will never hear about this in the drive-by media. it is taboo.
