Islam is kind of like 'Hotel California": "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave". If you truly believe in Islam, and what it stands for, then convert, but first take a good look at the rabid mob activity on CNN, and if you have any doubts whatsoever...save yourself a world of grief, and don't.
In the United States you are free to change your religion to anything you choose...as many times as you choose. But if you are unfortunate enough to live in many other parts of the world, that is not the case. Muslims who convert to Christ in other countries are routinely tortured, imprisoned and/or killed. That IS what Islam has come to believe and teach in practice. Such murderous, 'faith-based' hostility is propagated openly in mosques and madrases daily and weekly. Is that what you really believe?
Please, check out persecution.com before you do something that it may cost you your life to undo.

You posted two questions --- in one you say you want to change your religion into Islam and in the other, into Christianity. Do you know what you're talking about? You seem very confused and not sure of what you want. I would say it is better to wait until you are more sober then you read about the two religions, think deeply and decide. It's not a decision you should make in a state of ignorance.

if u r converting to ISLAM then congratulation from me becuz if u will change ur religion to ISLAM you will find clearily that, how much wrong u were in christanity and how relax and feeling comfortable in ISLAM, non muslims have bad perception abt muslim if u will be a muslim i m definity sure u want to tell the world with shouted voice that ISLAM IS REALLY TRUE RELIGION WITH EVERY PROOF IN ANY PART OF LIFE.

Excellent. I applaud you. Islam promotes peace and goodwill, something that few people are seeing just because of the actions of a few.
Islam is a clean, ideal faith. Imagine a society where people can leave their doors open freely because there is no crime to worry about. Imagine a belief where there is no drugs, rape, or drinking, and a religion that encourages charity and faith.
Definitely a great decision. Go for it.

Just having that kind of thinking you must be sure that you are special because God doesn't just give this feeling to anyone ... there's something deep down inside of you that is the reason why God choose you .... don't hesitate ... Islam is great and the more you get into Islam the more you see the world in a different way

first of all i would like to say congratulation. If you really, wothout a doubt think it's best for you, then go on with it. Ignore all those pathetic losers who were trying to stop you. to be a muslim all you need is to believe by mind and heart that islam is the right way to follow then you have to announce shahadah verbally,this means you have to declare that there is no God worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad pbuh is His last prophet and messanger.then you have to behave and live your life as a muslim.
