Why do we allow this type of thing to continue?, Are we all that ignorant of whats going on in our government? This is truly an outrage. There must be something which can be done to stop this waste of our tax dollars. Another person said the "We are funding the overthrow of our nation" or something to that effect, I believe that they are correct. The last days of the Roman Empire must have been similar. Here is an excerpt from the link. "the National Council of La Raza succeeded in raking in over $15.2 million in federal grants last year alone, of which $7.9 million was in U.S. Department of Education grants for Charter Schools, and undisclosed amounts were for get-out-the-vote efforts supporting La Raza political positions.

The Council of La Raza succeeded in having itself added to congressional hearings by Republican House and Senate leaders. And an anonymous senator even gave the Council of La Raza an extra $4 million in earmarked taxpayer money, supposedly for "housing reform," while La Raza continues to lobby the Senate for virtual open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens. "

Can't get through to that site at the moment but wanted to comment.
La Raza and MECHA both pro Hispanic, anti Anglo, clearly racist prone organization recieve millions of dollars anually through college run grant programs. It is an outrage that this is done with our tax dollars. I'm all for even and fair cultural enriching programs to "celebrate" the differences we all share as long as it is those differences are not held out as one better than the other.
La Raza and MECHA are both of the worst kind in this regard. Consider the MECHA slogan: For Hispanics everything; for all others: nothing!
These groups have pro Hispanic caucuses that put a lot of money into promoting their positions. This sytem and those (senators/congressman) that profit by it are corrupted with promises of money and power or threatened to have it taken away if proper support is not given to these corrupt/cancerous causes. Our country will be overtaken, our culture will be decimated and our Democratic way of life will evaporate if groups such as these have their way.
Find out who the internal gifers of our tax dollars are and vote them out! You all in California can start with ousting B. Boxer! But there are many more that need to go,as well!

Great article. I disapprove of Anti American sentiments in America! I would like to see a list of the congress members who support such a large amount of monies going to these groups. I am more then irked by this. Thanks for the information.

No. On neither side should the government be funding hate groups. Can you imagine the outcry if they funded the KKK?
