Im actually a women,not the dad. But I often wonder about it. Abortion is always murder and should be illegal. However,it IS legal and when the father wants the baby,let him have the baby. She played a big role in creation,and yes,as a responder said,she should play child support.

The question is, does the mother want the baby? If not, it is her choice, cause the guy isnt the one who will be carrying the child around for nine months. This should have been something they should have sat down and talked about cause it sounds like she dont want it, but he does.

I believe it addresses the issue of fathers' rights. Yes, I'm morally oppose to abortion, but i do believe in the fundamental right to make a choice. I believe if there's no opposition to a woman's choice of abortion then yes, she shouldn't be prevented from exercising her right. However, women must realize that the rights guaranteed in the u.s. constitution are not absolute.
It almost don't seem fair....if the mother wants the child and the father doesn't he can be ordered to pay child support. If the father wants the child and the mother doesn't...oh, well.
A few years ago, there was a court case where this occurred (women was cited for contempt for violating an injunction) because she had an abortion anyway while court was deciding the case...the father was willing to pay all medical expenses and other care, assume all responsibility for the child w/o asking for any child support, and releasing her of any responsibilities to the child...if she just carry the baby to term give it to him.
It's sad. I'm for equality...and in this area of law not all men are mere sperm donors some do want to be responsible fathers.
After all, it does take two.

Use contraception till both mum and dad agree that it's the right time. If neither use contraception they are fully aware of what can happen therefore should face up to their responsibilities!!! Both of them!!!
As for termination thats for the pair of them to agree on! Yes it is the womans body but if she didnt want kids yet then use contraception!!!!

while some father are bastards anyways and da only reason why they are sayin have an abirtion is cause they are 2 damn scared 2 be take respond 4 theri child keep on rasie ur kids . damn wat ****** got 2 say these damn dayz.
