Not sad or selfish, sweetie.

Try to observe the kinds of things your friend does to get the attention of the guys. Then try those things yourself.

You could ask her for some suggestions. Perhaps new makeup, hairstyle, or outfit can help you shed your old image for a new and exciting one...

Guys like women who are educated. They can tell in just a few moments if you're educated, or even care to be, or working on it. How's your grammar and speech skills? Judging on what you wrote or how you even asked the question, it seems you have some brushing up to do concerning English and writing skills. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm being a real friend by being honest.

some times it is hard having a very pretty best friend and some times it does kinda hurt your feelings that the guys seem only to recognize the other girl i think its pretty normal to feel that way. but if your patient the right guy will come along and see you first. i know that you are not angry with your best friend and sometimes i know you feel a little jealous but every thing will be ok .

no, it's not selfish. i think guys see you as a mate cause they really like you.
and thats great, but if you want more, than its just a few things you;ll have to do:

wear 'sexy' clothes. you dont have to look like a slut, but a little skin here, a little cleavage there: boys do function all the same in that ;)

if that doesnt work, just try to be less matey and be more flirty.
it should work!

(worked with me and my friends!)
good luck!

I'm a guy so I can honestly say that sometimes we are blind. We don't see the inner beauty of a girl until we've grown up. Mentally I mean.

SHUG I KNOW HOW U FEEL I AM THE SAME WAY CAUSE U KNOW WHY CAUSE THEY ACT LIKE SLUTS AND U KNOW A MAN IS GOING TO RUN TO THAT FIRST.THAT IS A EASY PIECE AND SEE U DON'T ACT LIKE THAT AND THAT IS WHY U WILL WIN IN THE END.

not at all! just because you want to be noticed doesn't mean that you're conceited. there is someone out there for you and one day you'll find him.

Start hanging out with someone not as pretty as you, like your friend does.
