A massage will make their stress go away, but playing a fun and easy board game is humorous, gets your mind thinking, and doesn't hurt your eyes as much as the TV or computer can.

Exercise is key, and proven to help boost one's mood due to the various chemicals released. I actually began exercising to lose weight, and noticed a definite and immediate improvement in my depression, which caused me to question why and find this answer. I have found that exercising while listening to music helps even more. Also, just smile, or help someone else, even with something small. I know it sounds cliche, but sometimes things are cliche for a good reason.

Put on some music that makes you want to move!!!!!!!!!! You know, that one song that you just can't sit still when it comes on!!!And don't just sit there while you listen, get up and shake your ***, even if you're alone in your living room!!! Just yesterday I was so mad I could just spit, instead of sitting and stewing and worrying, I got up, jumped in the shower and turned the radio to the oldies station.......before long I had danced, sang and soaped my way into a better mood!!!!

Talk to a good friend, play with a pet if you have 1. Playing fetch with my dog is better than 10 visits to a therapist!
