ok i've liked this guy for 7 years we've been friends for 7 years also. so i had the same question. treat him like you would even if you were going to just stay friends. let him know you like him, if he is a good friend things will only change for the better, not worse. and you can start kissing him on the cheek and hug him more he probably won't be weird about it then gradually build a stronger relationship. i hope this helps i'm sure you and this guy will be the envy of every other couple you know. good luck

well if u 2 were just friends at first then that means he was'nt thinking of u as being attractive to him in the way that he likes girls to be so if u start looking more of the way he likes then that will get his attention and make him start wondering about things.

I've been on the other side of that. He liked me and I though of him only as a friend. Even in my most desperate time of need he came to me and helped me. He gets along with all my family members even if I don't and he takes great care of me. Even if I'm sick he'll come to me and take care of me and carry me to bed if I"m to weak. Finally it dawned on me. I needed him and I cared about him. We're now going on 9 months. Keep being there for him. He'll come around

My guy and i were friends growin up and i made a first move on him. I went with him to his land and then later that night he came by my house to bring me my bracelet i left in his truck. Then i took his hat and made him get out and i turned to kiss him. it worked. play it off nicely! i also had our friends to help out a bit by hinting things to him.

i got him by just being nice and talking to him alot. i talked to him the most online, and after time, he finally came around and asked me out.
