How would you define the phrase "one and done"?

I guess it means you win once, and then you're eliminated, or you do something once, then quit, or something to that tune.

It means you go out and use your first lap to qualify and then shut it down and not even run the second lap. Typically your tires will have heated up too much on the second lap to get a better time anyway.
