Volunteering at a shelter

There are probably some cat shelters where they need people to play with the kittens and get them used to people. You could volunteer there but normally they want someone to make a commitment, not just go there one time.

Some places accept volunteers to play with the animals. It helps them to remain friendly while in the care of the facility. Check the humane society in your area to see if they are accepting volunteers. Other rescue places may also accept volunteers. Try searching the web for local shelters.

Like the people before me, I would suggest volunteering at an animal shelter. Those animals would love the attention.

Volunteering at a local shelter or at a veterinary clinic would be a good idea. Contact your local ASPCA for more details.

I think the APL, animal protective league would love to have your help with their cats. I wonder if you could contact them.

Maybe you can make a business out of it: catsitters, cat gym.
Have some fun and make money too. :)
