Lost this guys number that I really like but now I am not sure if I should call. It sounds as if I were making it up or something.

When I was younger and dating I lost a girls number and I looked every where but couldn't find it.A year later I found it but I decided to not call but to meet her face to face and explain what happened.When I went over to her house she told me she was getting married the next day and showed me her ring.

Something drew you to him in the first place.
Take a chance to explain to him what happened and you might start off a meaningful conversation from there.
It sounds to me like you're afraid of rejection (like 99.9% of everyone else in the world) but really, what's the worst that can happen?
Maybe he'll issue a restraining order on you, screen all your calls and spread horrible rumours about this crazy person who found his phone number on a sheet of paper! Or maybe not...
You can usually count on people to be more decent than that!

The poor guy probably thinks your not interested in him anymore, because of something he had done wrong.
If you really are interested in him, call him. Don't let a possible relationship go to waste just because of an unfortunate accident.
If you don't try you may regret not trying someday when your older. Trust me on this one. Been there done that.

If you really like him and didn't stop thinking about him when you couldn't find it then "YES". What have you got to lose.
You have to take risks now and again and if he doesn't want to believe you then it's his loss and if he has been thinking about you he will just be really glad you have called him at all.
Go for it - here's hoping "love" is on your side.

Yeah, give him a call, explain what happened and that it was a total accident. Tell him you were really happy when you found his# because you have been wanting to call him. Everything will be fine. He`ll probably just be happy you finally called. Good luck!

if you like him, give him a call and see how he is going to talk to you. if he sounds not interested, don't make a big deal. but if he sounds interested, and suprised, tell him the truth because if you guys are going to have a relationship you wanne be honest at all times

Go for it. Whats the worst that can happen? You guys just talk and thats it. Be honest with him and if he doesn't believe you, thats his loss
