Talk to him. Ask him to go to lunch or grab a cup of coffee. Sit down and talk about what you both want. Ive been in that situation before. If the communication problem hasnt been fixed yet then it isnt good to go back into the relationship again if thats going to be a problem. If things are better than I say go for it. Just put everything out on the table and see if you both want the same things. And if so then proceed from there. If you two really care about each other then you'd fix the whole communication situation.
And if your just not ready for a relationship right now because of communication then just stay friends and work from there so u can make the relationship u might have later stronger.
Hope things work out for ya.

if u mean communicate as in u 2 couldn't talk 2 each other because of distance then u have 2 work it out but if u mean that u 2 didn't have a good communication between u then i don't think its good 2 want him back, but if u think it can work then go 4 it.

I think i can relate to this. I went out with a girl that i really loved for three weeks only, but we spent quite literally everyday and every minute together. We both got tired because, when she introduced me to her friend, i started to like her friend, so i told her about it, we broke up for about two hours then decided to get over it, but things go worse and eventually we broke up at the end of the three week period.
NOW. That was four months ago. The reason I broke it off was because she was screwing around with some other guy whilst we were dating, at a party WHILST i was there. Then, when she told me to go wait in the tent for her, and not to stay up, i went but stayed awake. She poked her head into the tent and sighed. "Oh damn, now i cant sleep with him" (She was referring to the other guy). They went out after we broke up and yadda yadda yah, he stuffed up so they broke up.
Now i rung her the other week to ask her if she wanted to go back out again, and i told her how i felt, but then she found someone else and when i saw them together i figured that they were so happy and that i wasn't in any place to ruin that for either of them

Best thing to do is talk to him. In person. Go to a park or out to lunc/dinner and just talk. That is the best way to know. Im sure he will see you are beautiful and this time if you both try to talk and communicate more it could work.

Seduce him! just kiddin...well you need to be honest for yourself..have you ever tried telling him that you still care him despite of friendships he showed to you. try to do it and if it will not work then find another strategy to get him back. Talk to him seriously if you get chance to contact him.

i think you should call him and just talk like buddy to buddy. then just keep calling him for a while and then just casually tell him how you feel.
