hose in valve cover,unless you have one that has the volvo tech adapted into it.then it doesn't have one it has a seperator

The PCV valve on a 99 F-150 equipped with a 4.2L V6 is located on the left (driver side) valve cover next to the oil filler cap.

Depends upon the intake manifold.. If it's the aluminum colored one, it's on the passenger valve cover, If it's the plastic intake, it's mounted onto the right side of the intake manifold in the front and has 3 hoses going to it (2 coolant and 1 for the PCV line) and is mounted in with 2 torx screws

On the valve cover, should be on the passenger side.
