If Jesus didn't died we would be lost in the world doing worst than we are now for no one is perfect but Jesus. We would not have a way to pray which far as I'm concerned is how we make it day by day from talking to God, so therefore we would not be saved so the world would be in worst condition than it is in now.The important part is that we don't have to worry about things like that because we know that He did died for us, was buried, and rose again on the third day with all power in His hands, right?!

God Bless
Brianna

Well, then, most of us, with few exceptions, would go to Hell. The Bible says that whoever hangs upon a tree (cross) is cursed(Ephesians 3:13). Because he was pure, the only way for Jesus to bear our sins was to become cursed. Therefore, he had to die on the cross so he could pay the penalty for all of our sins so we would be forgiven of all of them. If Jesus did not die on the cross, then we would not be forgiven of our sins and would always be punished accordingly. Some of our sins would even deserve death, and we would, without a doubt, die. So, there. A lot more of us would be dead and in Hell if Jesus did not die on the cross.

Well, he probably wouldn't have died. Where was he coming back from if he didn't die? For sake of argument, if he did die some other way, and rose again three days later, then the Bible would have that story instead of Jesus dying on the cross.

Most of the answers are agreeable with me w/ some exceptions, and you cultists know who you are, or are you completely deceived. I think from an early age I was told who were the cultists and I still hold to becoming aware of that list of false religious groups with their diabolical tenets intended to deceive, even one right here on your venue. The truth is that Jesus died in accordance with His Father's plan which was to be a propitiation and sacrifice for sins as Jesus became sin for us. He did NOT sin during His earthly existence, but actually took on our sins on that 'old rugged' curse that is the tree on Mount Calvary. This is true, I don't really care how many times one has or has not heard. It is NOT a lie. Upon His death for three days, He stole the keys of death and hell from the enemy and actually claimed this authority as victor and conqueror over these two enemies for Himself in His position as king and priest forever after the order of the high priest Melchisedek. He rose from the grave and empowered the church to witness for Him with the empowerment of God's Holy Ghost and fire and we will be rocking for our Saviour and king and God until the end!! The answer is that Christ was crucified and buried and then was raised to new life and is now seated on the right hand of God until He judges the heathen at His Second Coming. This is glorious and at the same terrifying for the crowd that is outside the camp of the redeemed ones who are themselves justified and sanctifed as recipients of a freely ordained covenant God has with them! Now the latter is a much more glorious way of life!

The plan of our Heavenly Father would have been derailed. This is why Satan tried to tempt Jesus at the start of his mission on earth because he knew that if he could persuade Jesus to falter, the plan of salvation and our hopes of returning to live with our Heavenly Father again would have been devastated because only a man without any sin could pay the price for sinners and Jesus was the only man that could do this.

Without Jesus, you would be a Jew. Jews believe that all people who follow the seven Noahide laws have a share in the world to come. The Jewish punishment is similar to purgatory. It is a brief cleansing appropriate to the sins of the individual.

Sorry ... here I go again...:)

Jesus did not die on the cross...

God says in the Qur'an:

(4:157)
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

We would all be living under the law of the Old Testament.....which is different than living under grace with love. Example: under law one didn't do anything on Sunday, including helping another if it meant work, etc.
Under grace, we are asked to do the loving thing to our neighbors....not follow a bunch of rules...
