I have naturally wavy hair that doesn't look good if I just leave it down and don't do anything to it. I have tried the scruch method on my hair and it never seems to work. Should I be using gel or hairspray? Is it best to wet your hair first or not? What are some other styles I could do to my hair?

Gel your hair when it's wet, right after a bath/shower.
I have naturally curly hair and this works well for me.
Try Sebastian's Curl Polish. Makes the scrunch look natural and soft, you can get it at Trade Secret.

wash your hair, put it up in a pretty tight messy bun while still wet, if you want you could put some gel into it first, and then leave overnight or for a couple hours. when you take it out, it should be pretty dry or a little damp. This usually works very well for me. and if i leave it like that for 2 days, it gets ringletty at the bottom and it's really pretty actually.

hey! i have naturally straight hair, so it might be a lil different for yooh....but, wut i do, is that i take a shower at night and after i get out, kinda dry ur hair to where its still kinda wet but not dripping wet, and then make kind of a messy bun if u kno wut i mean, like scrunch it all together in a ponytail and hairspray it then sleep with it like that, and when yooh wake up the next morning, hairspray it one more time and take out the ponytail....that usually works for me, so good luck!
