I am 39 years old. And other places to go to meet the opposite sex .. other then the pub or bars, or wild parties, would be Bookstores, where they serve beverages, grocery stores, library, church. Just a few places that I thought of for ya. You never know.. you just might find that special someone while looking through the produce at the grocery store.. or reading an interesting novel and someone comes up to you with a coffee/tea and a bright smile, just wanting the same thing you want.. YOU NEVER KNOW.. anyway.. GOOD LUCK in your HUNT for Mr.Right.. cause in this case.. you can't go wrong.. and you have nothing to lose. Keep us posted.

The Internet is fine, as long as you are sensible. I am single and have been for a while, it is hard to meet new people. I have been a member on Dating direct and I have been on quite a few dates and have met some lovely people, but unfortunately, they wasn't for me, don't let that put you off though, a lady who I work with has been seeing someone for nearly a year, she is soooo happy with her new found love. You have nothing to loose, just tell someone where you are going, meet in a busy bar and you will be fine. Good luck and don't give up.

Almost anywhere. There are some men around like you describe, although some women's experiences might make them doubt it.
The Library might be a try.
The problem, really, is not so much where. It's how you make contact. 'Nice guys' are generally not pick-up artists, so you might have to make the first move.
A smile is usually a good starter and have a question ready.
Good luck and don't give up, there is someone and he's also wondering how he can meet you.

Stop looking - just go out and do things you enjoy, and you'll meet someone you already know you have something in common with.

Anywhere and everywhere where you can meet them face to face. I say shopping malls, grocery stores and near men's bathrooms.
