I feel guilty for not following there wishes but it is hard to talk to them about anything they dont allow me to go out to see even friends and monitor my phone calls. So i have been climbing out of the window of our two story house to do so for the last year.

You are 18 years old and an adult. You dont have to tell them that you are sexually active.

You are 18 year old, and an adult and your sex life is your business not theirs--even if you're stilling living within their home. If they ask you, you should be honest because that is the adult thing to do.

Don't jump to the conclusion of possible pregnancy yet: there's only about three to five days of a normal cycle in which a woman can get pregnant which comes to a 15% chance that your OOPS happened on fertile days, so there's an 85% chance that your OOPS didn't happen on a fertile day.

Still, since you are 18 and you are an adult, you need to take responsibility for yourself and for your actions. Get yourself to Planned Parenthood and discuss your birth control options there. They have a sliding scale so it's affordable.

I don't see why you can't have a boyfriend after all you are 18 and not 14. I am glad to hear that you have respect for them. I don't know if I would tell them you had sex just yet. But, I would let them know that you do have a boyfriend.

Please use protection next time. The "heat of the moment" can cause you alot of headaches in the long run.

Good Luck

Your parents are way over protective. Do not tell them anything. Planned Parenthood can help with birth control. Use a condom in the meantime. You are old enough to make these decisions by yourself. Your parents love you and want to protect you, but they are also smothering you. Just hold on, in a few years you can get a good job and find your own place.

I know that you are probably afraid that your parents might reject you, but you have to tell them everything. not for them but for YOU! the longer you wait to tell them the more guilty you'll feel. and since your 18, you'll be going to college soon to live your own life which means you'll learn how to come back from your mistakes. Also before telling them you should get a pregnancy test to see if your pregnant so if you are you can just tell them up front all at the same time.

That's a difficult situation. If you are 18 and are responsible, I think you are an adult and it is your business if you choose to be sexually active. I don't think you must tell your parents. Maybe you need a friend you can confide in and talk to. But you need to take birth control seriously if you don't want to get pregnant or contract a sexually transmitted disease.

Ay caramba! Don't tell your parents!! But get yourself to a planned parenthood clinic and get yourself some birth control. You can get it for next to nothing through them. Look up a clinic in your area - they're everywhere. Don't ruin your life by getting pregnant at such a young age. Finish school and get out of the house as soon as you can.

I would just slowly bring the BF into the picture! You can get birth control from a clinic and you can do it confidentially so that your parents wont find out.

in my opinion no! as long as your not pregnant. your only relieving your guilt. just make sure to be safe always.as far as the boyfriend your a young woman and its gonna
happen they will find out if they dont allready know. and if
there like any other Spanish catholic parent s i know .....oh they know believe me ! but i have noticed what is not spoken about is not really there as long as you conduct your self 'appropriately' you know what i mean good luck

no, but slowly bring the boyfriend into the picture, they will eventually assume you are sexually active. just don't screw up school because that is most likely their fear.speaking of which, get some birth control.
