convince the gf to stop talking to her ex. She sees him occasionally b/c of mutual friends, but he's sounds like a manipulative ******. He cheated on her (which I just found out about) and I swear she said she could understand why. It was like she forgave him but can't forgive herself even though she's got NOTHING to be sorry for? How do I go about this one???

If u ask her to stop speaking with her ex bf then she might get u wrong...She'll think of u as jelous and posessive...I think she still has some feelings for him...U must let the things go...If she has forgiven him then dont make a scene...Let her go back to him if he cheated her once it's most probably he will do that again...So let her see on her own what kind of idiot that guy is...Cause if u tell her she'll get u wrong...Stay out of it..Eventually when she'll find out that people dont change just like that she'll go back to u...

She is playing you for a fool and using you to get the ex to feel jealous and make him want to get back with her.
May as well dump her now cos shes going to dump you in due course. Also shes taking you for granted and using the 'mutual friends' excuse to see him even when shes supposed to be with you.
Get rid of her.

She's probably not over him and was wrong to start another relationship when not healed. If she is over him, you need to express your concern. Things she does, she has to think about you now and how you feel. Talk to her about it and see her reaction. You can't convince anybody to do something they don't want to do, you just need to express your concern to her. And if she is not over him, you might have to start back to being friends until she is over him...
