Don't say that he's your boyfriend, just tell her that he's well respected, and he treats you with respect. Tell her that he wants to meet her. If she already knows him, tell her that you like him. Ask if she can keep it a secret. You know a mom/ daughter secret. She'll feel safe knowing that you told her first and confided in her.

yes! be open with her. you should never keep anything from your mother! my mom is my best friend. i tell her everything.

and the best part about that is that you won't get in trouble. because if you let her know right upfront, she won't get angry if she would find out.

and especially if she already knows the boy, you're good to go. then she won't ask all those questions like, "is he nice? what does he look like? does he smoke? is he polite?" and all that stuff.

im sure she wouldn't wanna find out you've been keeping this from her!!!

Being open with your parents is important for building trust. If she finds out another way she will most likely be angry or dissapointed, but by telling her yourself you show her that you trust her and she is important to you. I say yes.

I think you should. As long as you didn't do anthing then yes, do tell her. I told my mom about my first boyfriend and she was so happy even though she didn't want me to have one. =)

yes, at 15 your at that age. tell her that you are friends and like to hang out together. If you do not tell, she will be upset and hurt that you did not confide in her.

Tell her with apology. Apologize for not telling her. In that case it would ease the pain of you (her daughter) lying. Empathize in her situation you will surely understand.

She already knows him, so it's not like you'll have to introduce them for the first time. Does she like him? I think you should tell her.
